Chef Bill Karaki
Father, husband, chef, and owner born in Beirut, Lebanon. I met my lovely wife, Sue, during my first year studying business at a university in Beirut. In 1988, we moved to Monterey, California where I studied textile design at Monterey Peninsula College. Following my education, I worked at several local restaurants including The Hyatt Regency Hotel, The Lodge in Pebble Beach, The Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa, as well as other restaurants.
Growing up in a Mediterranean family, my wife and I have experienced an array of flavors and cuisines. Therefore, I have grown to love creating art through food and pleasing different tastes. In 1998, Sue and I took over a small cafe and turned it into a larger restaurant. With the help of my wonderful wife, four kids, and staff, we are fully committed to provide quality food and service in a warm and welcoming setting. We strive to meet our 100% satisfaction goal everyday. Our determination has earned us local guest satisfaction and our passion & superior quality helped us move up the line to become one of the top restaurants on the Central Coast. And to our loyal customers, a big thank you from Sue, Rawan, Reina, Noor, Mo, and myself; we look forward to having you with us soon!
